why would anyone in their right mind say that something exists when there is zero evidence that it does?
i could wish all i wanted that the tooth fairy is real. just because i like the idea of something being real unless there is real concrete evidence, and not just a feeling a book written by men or rhetoric, there is no reason to assume god exists is there?
also, i can’t just decide that my personal subjective experience is evidence either, that isn’t real evidence, unless hallucinations and dreams are evidence for things to exist.
@exodiafinder
please present some real evidence for god please. and i don’t mean you defintion of evidence either, i mean real evidence.
@kathy
where does it say that the universe could not create itself?
Because their peers do. It’s an endless circle.

You make the mistake of thinking there is zero evidence for God. That is not the case.

1. The Universe exists
2. The Universe could not have created itself.
3. Therefore God exists.

The key phrase in your question is "right mind". The belief in a thing for which there is no evidence precludes the "right mind" concept.

Because their church scares them out of thinking logically by saying that thoughts on how it doesn’t make sense is the devil coming into their brain lol.
Also, keep in mind that demographically, the less educated a person is, the more religious they are. I don’t say that to be mean, look it up for anyone who doesn’t believe me. So a lot of them are simply not smart enough to realize these hypocrisies.
As an added lunacy, the zealots also do not practice what the bible says and they preach anyways lol it just makes them feel better to judge.

You are correct that one cannot wish something into existence.
However it is not the case that there is no evidence for God’s existence. In fact there is more evidence for than against.

It doesn’t matter whether it is provable or not. Does it serve a purpose in your life ? do you gain any benefits from your belief?
It doesn’t matter if G-d is or is not as long as you are able to gain strength and guidance from the idea of what a religion has to offer.
I gain benefits from my religion and so I will keep it.

most of my life I would have agreed with you, but then at the age of 72 in the presence of my doctor while having a physical, I had a Mystic experience, and in 15 seconds my life was changed, and I have another person to collaborate, "my doctor" what happened. I received the knowledge and truth that Love is the knowledge that gives us the "keys" to the Kingdom. check out my web it might make you think about what is the truth! http://TheAsender.com
